Managing Director

Rajaram Narayanan joined the Board on 21st October 2015. He was appointed Managing Director of Sanofi India Limited in January 2018.

Rajaram joined Sanofi in 2014 as the Country Head and General Manager. Over the last 4 years, he has led the strategic reorientation of Sanofi in India leading to accelerated growth in key therapies, setting up of new business models and significant transformation of its market operations.

Rajaram started his career with Unilever, where he held a variety of leadership roles in sales for over 18 years. Along the way he built and managed iconic consumer brands in India and other Asian markets. Prior to joining Sanofi, he worked for 3 years in the telecom industry as Chief Marketing Officer at Airtel, India’s leading mobile services company..

He graduated in Engineering from BITS, Pilani and has an MBA from IIFT, New Delhi. He is also an alumnus of the Advanced Management Program of Harvard Business School.
